Judaism teaches to Love your work (Ethics of Fathers 1:10) to the extent that you don't see your job as work at all!
If you're wondering what about your job there's to be so excited about, take a minute to consider how your job aligns with what your passionate about and great at doing.
Aligning your work with your deepest values, interests and talents is Judaism's ancient recipe (see Babylonian Talmud 43B and Duties of Heart - Gate of Trust) for creating a happy work force, even in 2017's working conditions!
It all starts with you. If you didn't smile on the way to work today, it's not too late. Grab the moment, think or jot down the answer to these questions:
1. Which values am I most passionate about?
2. What type of activities do I become energized by most?
3. What top 3 skills do people compliment me most for?
4. How does what I am doing on my job match up with the above 3 answers?
If these answers are aligned, start lacing up your jumping sneakers :)
